Marking of the quirk

Put the 10mm packer against the door casing inside edge and mark all the way round using the pencil.
Marking up the architrave and cutting them to length - using a pencil and chop saw

Offer a piece of architrave up to the door casing head and mark where the quirk runs off onto the legs. Using the chop saw cut the architrave at 45 degrees away from the marks, offer a piece of architrave up to each leg of the door and mark where the quirk runs off onto the head, place the architrave on the chop saw and cut at 45 degrees away from the marks
Installing the architrave

Put the architrave head onto the door casing head and line it up with the 10mm quirk. Put into position using the pin gun, take one of the architrave legs and cover the mitre with glue, offer the leg up to the door casing legs and line up with the 10mm quirk, fix into position using the pin gun, also fix together the mitre on the architrave head and leg using the pin gun, repeat the process to the other architrave leg.
